We’re proud to announce that 50skills has been named a Finalist in the British HR Awards 2026 in the Technology Partner of the Year category.
The British HR Awards celebrate the teams, leaders, and suppliers helping organisations deliver a better people experience. With a record 474 entries from across the UK, competition was especially strong this year, with finalists ranging from start-up innovators to global brands and public sector organisations.
At 50skills, we focus on removing the everyday friction that slows down HR processes by combining AI agents with automated workflows.
We work alongside the tools you already use, connecting your processes through automated workflows with AI agents helping along the way. These agents can check submissions, summarise information, draft messages, and route requests so HR teams spend less time on manual admin while staying in control of decisions.
Here are a few ways HR teams are using 50skills to improve the people experience:
In processes such as background checks or compliance heavy onboarding, small errors can cause significant delays. AI agents review submissions before formal checks take place, flag missing information, and prompt employees to correct issues early so the process keeps moving.
Employees can start processes simply by asking a question in Slack, Teams, or another AI chat tool. A workflow can then guide them through the request, validate submissions against policy, and route approvals automatically.
Alongside product development, we run workshops, webinars, and live AI workflow automation builds where teams map their processes and see them built in real time. Together we agree where AI can assist, such as document checks, summarising information, and drafting communications, and where human review must sit. Seeing this in practice helps teams move from curiosity about AI to confident, responsible adoption.
Finalists were selected by a judging panel made up of senior people leaders from organisations including Barbour, The AA, TalkTalk, NatWest Cushon, the British Film Institute, Shelter, and Puma UKI.
Their expertise highlights the growing importance of innovation, trust, and measurable impact in shaping the future of HR.
“Being named a finalist at the British HR Awards reflects how organisations are starting to rethink everyday people processes. When AI agents work inside workflows, teams can remove delays, reduce manual work, and create a more responsive experience for employees while still keeping people accountable for decisions.” Kristjan Kristjansson, CEO and Co Founder of 50skills
Winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony in Central London on 22 April 2026, hosted at the iconic Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden.
We look forward to celebrating alongside other finalists and continuing to show how AI powered workflows can help organisations improve the everyday experience of work.
